I have been notified of some instances where the ASS3T-v2.1.zip file is being detected as malicious when being scanned using VirtusTotal. I believe this to be a false positive. ASS3T is an interactive and responsive set of threat-intelligence dashboards created using Microsoft’s PowerBI platform. This tool uses the latest TTP and mitigation data from MITRE ATT&CK v15.1 (https://attack.mitre.org/).

Using ASS3T, you can quickly and easily find specific attack technique information based on the most prolific threat actors and well-established threat objectives (tactics) across each of the three domains; enterprise, industrial control systems (ICS) and mobile.

The tool also includes the associated mitigating controls to help you develop a robust cyber defence strategy using a defence-in-depth and threat-informed approach.

Features:

  • Added a threat actor dashboard for multi-stage attack analysis and discovery.

  • Added a platform dashboard to filter techniques by tech stack/platform.

  • Added a control effectiveness score (CES) to identify which mitigations cover the most attack techniques.
